1 day. Kiev
Arrival in Kiev. Meeting the Group at the Airport. Accommodation. Dinner. Night at the
hotel.

2 day. Kiev
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour across Kiev city. The famous Sofiivsky (St. Sophia’s)
Cathedral is the main temple of Kievan Rus founded by Prince Yaroslav the Wise in
1037. The mosaics and frescoes of St. Sophia were created in the middle of the XI century
by Byzantine masters whom Yaroslav the Wise specially invited from Constantinople. The
most valuable are St. Sophia’s Cathedral’s wall paintings of XI century, 260 square meters
of mosaics and approximately 3,000 square meters of frescoes painted with water colors on
the wet plaster. Kyiv National Museum of Russian Art. A boat trip on the Dnipro
River. Dinner.

3 day. Kiev
Breakfast. The Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (visit of cave-monastery and
temples). Free time in Lavra. National Opera of Ukraine. Dinner.

4 day. Kiev – Pochaev
Breakfast. Transfer by comfortable bus to the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra. Sitting
atop a 60 meter hill in Western Ukraine, surrounded by beautiful agricultural countryside,
with stunning sunrise and sunset views, is the historic monastery complex of Pochaiv.
Dinner.

5 day. Pochaev – Lvov
Breakfast. The miracle-working icon of the Mother of God “Pochayivskaia”, relics of
Pochaev Venerable Job and Amphilochius, “Footprint” of the Most Holy Mother of God.
Moving to Lvov - is one of the eldest cities of Ukraine, with much of history preserved in
stunning architectural monuments, legends cherished through generations of Lviv citizens
and multinational traditions. The medieval Rynok Square, beautiful churches, cathedrals
and chapels, Lviv Opera House and some other sights, which deservedly have put this city
on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Dinner with the national ukrainian food.

6 day. Lvov – Kiev
Breakfast. Departure in Kiev. On the way to Kiev – visit of the Gorodok Monastery.
Dinner.

7 day. Kiev
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour with visit of the following sacred places: the Kitaevo
Hermitage. Hermitage of the Protective veil of All Holy Theotokos in Goloseevo. The
Holy Trinity and Venerable Jonah Monastery. Dinner.

8 day. Kiev – Odessa
Breakfast. Transfer to Odessa. Sightseeing tour across city. Dinner.

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour across Odessa city. The Holy Dormition Cathedral (the
miracle-working icon of the Mother of God “Kasperovskaya”, relics of righteous St. Jonah
of Odessa); The Cathedral of Our Saviour and Transfiguration (relics of sainted
hierarch Innocent, Archbp. of Kherson and Taurica); the Greek Church of the Holy
Trinity (tomb of Gregory V, Patriarch of Constantinople). Odessa Archeological
Museum. A boat trip. Dinner.

Breakfast. The Monastery of the Holy Dormition (relics of Venerable Kuksha of

icon of the Mother of God “Nursing the Child”. The Iberian Monastery. Odessa City
