Ukrainian traditional cuisine belongs to Ukrainian heritage as much as language,
literature, and arts. It is a priceless acquisition that can – and should – make a nation
proud. Who has not heard of a variety of Ukrainian borshches, pampushky, halushki,
varenyky, stuffed fish, forced lard, baked stuffs, and roasted ham! The majority of dishes
have a characteristically complex set of components; e.g., a borshch requires, beside
beetroots, some 20 more components - and there are around 30 recipes of borshch
around!

Day 1
Arrival to Kyiv and checking into the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant Tsarske Selo: traditional cuisine restaurant, where dishes are cooked according to age-old recipes, retaining their original historical names. The restaurant’s interior is designed in tune with that of an Ukrainian settlement of 18th century.

Day 2
An overall sightseeing tour with visits to St. Sophia Cathedral, lunch at a restaurant
Za Dvoma Zaitsyamy. Restaurant to the accompaniment of live music in the style of early last century. Discover the magic of the Andriyivskyi Descent and ancient Slavic cuisine in company of a choice of Ukrainian, Georgian and imported wines. A guided tour of Podil, the Kyiv’s oldest neighborhood famous for its rich history; a boat trip on the Dniproriver. To end such a marvelous day , a lunch at “O’Panas” restaurant, where the guests will truly enjoy the unique spirit of Ukrainian supper and the view of one of the oldestparks in Kyiv.

Day 3
Lunch at restorant Pervak. Restaurant famous for its lush interiors and nonetheless original and rich menu.
A guided tour of Kyiv Pechery Lavra, one of the most important Orthodox holy sites
in Ukraine, with a visit to the Museum of Historic Treasures of Ukraine. Dinner at
.Massandra. Restaurant, where merchantmen once ate and where the guests will
have a chance to taste the famous White Muscat Red Stone, the pride of Massandra

Day 4
A tour of the open-air Traditional Architecture and Life Museum at Pyrohovo. A light
lunch at the Ukrainian .Khutorok. Pub, where the guest will be treated to Chicken
a-la Kyiv or as an option Visit to Cossack village Mamaev Sloboda - open-air museum in Kiev. A tour of edible Kyiv souvenirs (fresh Ukrainian lard treats). Departure to the
airport.
